Cooking can be a favorite hobbie for many people and awesome girls like me. So while cooking we need to have lots of patience and cook really tasty and delicious food for our family. Well, now let's have a mouth watering dish to know about. Let's start this with something sweet. All the Indian Houses are filled with joy and happiness during festivals. To grab their attention, We can add some flavor which would make the festival more tasty. I start it with Halwa poori which is my favorite dish as well. So, Instead of wasting time Let's get Started!
Ingredients:
Procedure:
Let us complete this dish by following the below steps.
STEP 1:
Let us start by making sweet stuffing. To make this, for one cup of semolina nothing but Bombay rava, we need 3 cups of water. Now put a pan then pour 3 cups of water in to it and when the water is just about to boil add rava in to this hot water little by little. When it starts thickening then add one cup of sugar if you like you can add more amount of sugar according to your taste and then cook it slowly till the entire mixture gets thicken .Now this mixture is ready and put off the flame and let it cool down and make in to small balls.
STEP 2:
Here, before making the stuffing in to balls we can add roasted dry fruits. Just take a kadai and add 2 to 3 spoons of ghee and then add cashews ,almonds and fry them until they turns golden brown and later we can add them in to our stuffing and make them in to small balls. (This step is optional.... If you are interested in dry fruits then you can)
STEP 3:
Now our stuffing portion is completed. So, let's make a dough for this... Take a bowl and add the flour and add a pinch of salt do not add much just a pinch to it and then add 3-4 spoons of oil and pour enough water and make it in to dough similar to chapathi.
STEP 4:
For making Halwa poori, take a lemon size of sweet stuff and as well as the dough and just roll the dough little bit and put the stuff in to it and close it properly and then roll them again gently. Now it is ready to fry. We can make a shallow fry by means of frying pan or else we can prefer deep fry. It can also be done by using either vegetable oil or ghee. Here, I'm preferring ghee for much more taste. Finally, our sweet is ready to serve... Yummy yummy Halwa poori is ready to it...
