Hii my dear friends.... Now, I would like to introduce a simple, easy and tasty rice item which is nothing but pulao. As I have already said I just love to have rice items, this is the one I really like to eat. As it is made of veggies and light amount of spices (masalas) it does not effect the health and can have it in your regular diet even everyday !!! It can be taken as lunch or as even breakfast. Children really loves it...

Method of Preparation:
STEP 1:
The first step that should be followed is soak the long grained rice for 30 minutes. And slice the onions, and all the remaining vegetables should be finely chopped such as french beans and carrot.
STEP 2:
Now, boil 5-6 cups of water in a deep non-stick pan. And let the water boil.
STEP 3:
Heat ghee and oil in another deep non-stick pan. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, black peppercorns, cloves, shahi jeera i.e; all the spices that we have considered should be added to this along with the onion slices. Saute for a while.
STEP 4:
After few minutes, add finely chopped carrots, cauliflower, beans and green peas. Mix well. To this, add soaked rice, salt and then mix well and add 4 1/2 cups boiled water. Stir to mix, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Salt must be added according to your taste.
STEP 5:
Switch off heat and let it stand for 5 minutes covered. Open the lid and open the rice grains with the help of a fork or spoon. Serve hot.
Take a pan and add 2 spoons of ghee and let it be enough heat and then add cashews and fry them until they turns in to golden brown color. This can be optional.
So, at last serve the hot pulao with that roasted cashews. It tastes really good......
